Many golfers who underestimate the wind start their round with the unforgettable experience of playing their 2nd shot from the beach!.\u00a0 Machrihanish has self-proclaimed this hole as \u2018the best opening hole in world golf\u2019. At 436 yards, it is a scary and intimidating start more so when the wind is gusting. \u00a0If you enjoy links golf Machrihanish will be right up your street.
